Registration

To receive an information packet in the mail, call us at 916 354-2122, or fill in the contact form below. Our registration policy requires a pre-enrollment interview. Interviews are conducted at the training center by appointment. Contact the office to schedule an interview.

You must bring the following items with you to your interview:

  • A DMV printout less than 30 days old
  • A valid California driver's license
  • A resume or job history
  • Copies of any Training Certificates that you have
  • A copy of your High School Diploma or Equivalent (not required for entry into the program)
TRAINING TUITION FEES
Class A Commercial Drivers License $4,900.00 - 5 Weeks
Class B License $3,700.00 - 3 Weeks
Remedial/Advanced Driving Skills $1,500.00 - 2 Weeks
Water Truck/Water Pull No cost to qualified Teamster Members
Material Haul (Includes): No cost to qualified Teamster Members
10 Wheeled Dump Truck
Bottom Dump
No cost to qualified Teamster Members
Boom Truck No cost to qualified Teamster Members
Passenger Endorsement $1,500.00 - 1 Week
Fork Lift $150.00 - 1 Day
   
TRAINING CENTER FEES
Book $ 40.00
Room & Board (meal included) $325.00 - Per Week arriving on Sunday p.m.
 
REGISTRATION, ENROLLMENT & ADMINISTRATION FEES
Registration, Enrollment & Administration $ 500.00 (this is a portion of tuition fee)
 
UNION HALL FEES
Call the Teamsters Local in your area for current Initiation Fees and Union Dues per month
 
DMV FEES BREAKDOWN
DOT Physical $ 55.00 - At our Med-Clinic
DMV Printout $ 5.00
Permit Test $ 64.00
Drug Testing $ 45.00
TOTAL $169.00

DOT Physical must be completed before Permit Test can be completed, the physical can be provided by your organization, or you can schedule one through us at the Med-Clinic.

The Class A Permit must be obtained before training begins, study aids are available at the Training Center and on our website.

Applications for Training are available at your Local Union office. The application will need to be signed by your Teamster Local before any student can be accepted into enrollment. If an application is not received, a place will not be held.
